Why this book hits differently
The Christmas gift with their face in it
Under the tree this year there will be, as always, a pile of things that light a child up for an afternoon and are forgotten by New Year. A personalized Christmas book is the opposite kind of gift: the one that comes back down off the shelf every December for the next fifteen years. Your child doesn't just read about a Christmas adventure — they are it. Their real photo goes onto every page, placed into the scenes, standing next to Santa and the reindeer on the journey through a snowy Christmas wonderland.
MAGIC PICTURE STORY
Real photos → real face in every illustration. Your baby is unmistakably themselves on every page.
NAME ONLY / AVATAR BOOKS (everyone else)
Baby’s name in the text. A cartoon character approximates their look. Generic and outgrown very fast
Their Real Face in Their own Book
The book they ask for every night
A keepsake they remember
The gift that doesn’t get outgrown
A Keepsake Hardcover You Approve Before It Prints
There's a particular look on a child's face the first time they turn a page and see themselves in it. It's not the polite interest they give a normal story — it's recognition, the "that's ME!" that makes them grab the book and carry it around. Our books use your child's actual photo, realistically placed, not a cartoon character with their name printed underneath. That's the difference between a book they're read once and a book that becomes theirs — the one that gets packed away with the ornaments and comes out as a tradition.
